Carnage is a Marvel Comics supervillain, an alien symbiote offspring of Venom. The host for Carnage is Cletus Kasady, a psychotic serial killer. When the Carnage symbiote bonds with Kasady, it creates a powerful and chaotic entity. Carnage possesses abilities similar to Venom, including shape-shifting, superhuman strength, agility, and the capability to generate weapons from its own mass. Notably, Carnage has a more volatile and brutal nature, making it a formidable adversary for superheroes like Spider-Man.

Carnage, was introduced into the marvel comics in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #361 in 1992. 


#ORIGIN

 Carnage is an offspring of the Venom symbiote. It is the result of the Venom symbiote reproducing asexually and bonding with Cletus Kasady, a psychotic serial killer, when he was Eddie Brock's cellmate. Carnage made his first full appearance in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #361. The character became an instant and iconic antagonist, known for his extreme violence and chaotic nature.

Carnage's has symbiote offspring, called Toxin.

One of the notable story arcs featuring Carnage is "Maximum Carnage," a crossover event in the Spider-Man comics. It involved Carnage leading a team of superpowered criminals in a city-wide killing spree. At times, Carnage has been depicted as an antihero, especially when bonded with other hosts like Eddie Brock and Norman Osborn.  


 Powers and weaknesses


Carnage, also known as Cletus Kasady, possesses enhanced strength, speed, agility, and durability due to the symbiote he bonds with. His powers include shape-shifting, tendrils, and the ability to generate weapons. However, his weaknesses include vulnerability to sonic and fire-based attacks, similar to other symbiotes like Venom. Additionally, Carnage's insanity and lack of strategic thinking can be exploited in battles.
