Spider-Gwen, also known as Gwen Stacy in an alternate Marvel universe, is a superhero with abilities similar to Spider-Man. In this reality, Gwen was bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker, gaining arachnid-like powers. As Spider-Woman, she possesses enhanced strength, agility, and the ability to cling to surfaces. With a distinct costume featuring a hood and web patterns. Spider-Woman, commonly known as Spider-Gwen, was created by writer Jason Latour and artist Robbi Rodriguez. She first appeared in "Edge of Spider-Verse" #2 in September 2014.In the comics, Spider-Gwen hails from an alternate universe known as Earth-65, where Gwen Stacy, not Peter Parker, gained spider powers. In addition to her superhero activities, Gwen Stacy in this alternate universe is depicted as a talented musician and drummer in a band called "The Mary Janes."
